Number System Googlies

Hi, First of all I am sorry for not been able to interact with you people.

Number system is one topic, which you may complete within 24 hours or it might take you a lifetime to master it. People says that the most vast topic in CAT is number system, I would say it depends. It depends on person, if he has used numbers throughout his life efficiently then number system should be walk on the cheese for him.

A few days back I went for a movie "Ice Age 3" what an awesome movie it is, for that my friend said that he will pay the entire amount but being a humble guy I asked for 50/50 share, and he not being so humble agreed. So when we reached the hall (DT PLACE Saket) the guy at counter demanded Rs 420 for two tickets. My friend had only 400 Rs. so I gave him 100 Rs. the rest 80 Rs. was kept by my friend. After the movie we had ice cream at McD for which I paid Rs. 50 and parking was Rs. 30 given by my friend. When we reached home, I gave him Rs. 175. Now tell me how much should I expect or should I give to my friend.

This problem seriously took me over an hour to solve, so I thought you should also look at the ambiguities created by Number System.
